Fanbase

They say fame is fleeting (who are these 'they'? Always wondered...) and i sampled my very first taste of fame the other day.
I was travelling home from London on the Oxford tube. Some guy at the bus stop had been staring at me and was now sat a few seats in front. As we got to Headington he moved to sit next to me in order to talk to the man across the aisle (from what i gathered he was some kind of ex-teacher). He turns to me and says, honest to God:

Man: 'Excuse me, are you that girl from YouTube?'

Me: Huh...?

Man: K... Katy, Kat... something Rose?

Me: ... CazyRose?

Man: Yeah! I loved your Sooty videos.

Me: *stunned*

Apparently, even stranger, he was the boyfriend of my friend's sister's friend... Never met him before in my life but she had shown him the video and he had remembered my visage.

Have the greatest urge to now turn up at clubs and demand, in an offensively loud voice, "Do you know who i am!?"

Crash

My last version of this video was removed by youtube due to inappropriate content... bastards. I removed the PG-13 nudity and reworked the rest:

The film is 'Crash', staring James Spader and Holly Hunter. The music is Muse's cover of Feeling Good.

It's not the greatest film in the world but it raises interesting concepts of the man - machine / woman - nature deal. Also it's concerned with extreme fetish which is always a good pondering subject. You could dismiss the characters as being sick/diseased/wrong or you could accept it as an extreme of human nature - finding beauty and sexuality in destruction.
